Where we’ve been weeding out paper timesheets since 2006!
If you’re a bookkeeper for a landscaping company, we’d bet a pretty penny that you have (on several occasions) gotten a paper time card that looked like it had been run through a mower. And that’s only half the battle. Actually getting employees to remember to turn in their time cards is a task in and of itself. One landscaper’s accountant actually put it this way:
“[We] have to constantly follow up, nag, cajole, threaten with wet noodles, growl, browbeat, bribe with cookies, use bad words, yell, scream, primal scream, beg, ask, suggest, hint and use combinations of action verbs and descriptive adjectives to get the time cards sent, emailed, faxed, scanned, hand delivered – whatever works best for them. Most of the time when the time cards arrive they are hard to read, coffee stained, muddy, wrinkled, mummified, torn, ripped, smeared and in a few cases written with construction crayons.”
Which is why we are hosting LANDSCAPING WEEK with landscaping companies (and their bookkeepers and employees) everywhere to celebrate the many ways TSheets can help GROW your business! Here’s what is in store:
GIVEAWAYS: Check out our Facebook page and if you’re interested in shirts for your crew or maybe a gift card to Home Depot simply share the landscaping week picture on your wall (or and landscaping friend’s wall) and you’re entered to win on of our three prize packs! Winners will be announced all week so keep checking back.
THE FACTS: We understand words like job costing, managing bilingual crews, processing payroll, and running a seasonal business can make that spot in the temples instantly start to throb. We can help ease the pain – and we have the information and the testimonials from landscaping companies to back it up!
WAYS TO SHARE: If you’re a ProAdvisor or bookkeeper or simply a friend who knows a landscaping company owner, here’s your chance to help a client or friend out, and gain some karma points while you’re at it! All week we’re going to be offering fun facts and prizes in all these places on the web:
